Eero Järnefelt was a Finnish painter known for his landscapes and portraits around the Koli National Park. Aside from being an artist, he was also a well-respected art professor. Among his finest works is the "Family Outing." It features two girls having an outing, sitting on a rock on an elevated area overlooking the lake. The bright sunlight shines upon them, riddled by the shadows of the tree nearby.
