You can get a poster anywhere. Flat, dead ink on paper. It sits on your wall and does… nothing. It has no pulse.
You are here because you want the thing itself.
You want the ridges of the brushstrokes. You want to see where the artist’s hand moved across the canvas. You want art that breathes, that catches the afternoon light and changes as you walk past it. You want the smell of oil and the weight of history.
That is why I started Artwork Only in 2010.
Fifteen years ago, I looked at the art market and saw two choices: spend millions on an original, or settle for a soulless digital print. I thought that was a tragedy.
I wanted to bridge that gap. I wanted to bring the museum experience—the grit, the texture, the sublime messiness of real paint—into real homes.

We aren’t a faceless drop-shipping warehouse or a startup that appeared yesterday. We are a family-run business that has been operating on this same domain for over 15 years.
We treat this business the old-fashioned way: we answer our emails, we care about the details, and we treat every order like a commission for our own home. When you work with us, you have a team that is personally invested in making sure your wall looks incredible.
Our Process: We Don't Stop Until You Say "Wow."
Commissioning art online requires trust. We honor that trust with a simple, ironclad process.
Step 1: The Commission. You place your order and secure your spot in our studio queue.
Step 2: The Creation. Our artists get to work, building your masterpiece layer by layer.
Step 3: The Reveal. This is the most important part. Before we ship anything, we email you a high-resolution photo of your actual painting.
Step 4: The Verdict. You tell us what you think. Is the sky too dark? Is the expression not quite right? We offer unlimited revisions.
We will not ship your painting until you have given us the "Green Light." We will tweak, adjust, and refine the canvas until it is exactly what you envisioned.
