Wang Meng (c. 1308 – 1385) was a Chinese painter during the Yuan Dynasty who exclusively painted landscapes. Wang Meng is considered to be one of the Four Masters of the Yuan Dynasty, along with Huang Gongwang, Wu Zhen, and Ni Zan. "Forest Grotto In Juqu, 1370" shows a river running through a deep ravine. Both sides of the ravine are lined with forestry. Trees, clinging to the slope, are depicted with bright orange and green foliage. There are several wooden huts on stilts, with occupants inside, nestling against the slopes. There is a man in a hat rowing down the river. The painting bears the artist signature and seal which is printed in orange.
