But later, it was altered to show the face of the artist's favourite model, Alexa Wilding. The painting is a portrait of Lilith, who the first wife of Adam according to an ancient Judaic myth. She was depicted as a powerful but evil temptress, who seduced men and murdered children. In this painting, she has a long, flowing hair with Amazon-like character. Beautiful and strong, enticing but dangerous.
