Englishman In Moscow by Kazimir Malevich - Famous Art - Handmade Oil Painting on Canvas
In Englishman in Moscow, Kasimir Malevich, the artist who spearheaded the Suprematist movement, moved away from painting cold structures and geometric shapes to new forms and vibrant colors. The painting features a man colored green among a busy scene comprised of a candle, sowrd, white fish, signs, letters and collection of seemingly random objects. Up to this day, this masterpiece is considered as one of the best paintings by the artist.
The Grand Canal, throughout the years, has been the subject of many art and literary pieces. One of the best known paintings of this scenery is the one painted by the Venetian master Canaletto in 1730. It perfectly captures the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canal, the gondolas, and the buildings surrounding it, under the sunny. This Rococo masterpiece is currently held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
