The Italian Baroque painter Caravaggio painted versions of The Incredulity of Saint Thomas, which depicts Jesus has resurrected and shown himself to the Apostle Thomas after the latter initially said that he would only believe the resurrection if he sees the nail marks and stands beside Jesus. In this painting, the doubtful Thomas is in awe, seeing Jesus in front of him and other people. There are two angels portrayed in the painting as well. This painting is one of the popular depictions of the subject.
